Claiming PDUs
Volunteers who are also Credential Holders typically claim one (1) PDU for one (1) hour of service, in category E “Giving Back to the Profession”, unless otherwise specified by the type of volunteer position they hold.
Volunteers are responsible for maintaining their own records and for reporting their own PDUs. It is suggested that Credential Holders familiarize themselves with terms set forth by the Project Management Institute regarding PDUs and maintaining certifications. That information can be found here: http://www.pmi.org/Certification/Maintain-Your-Credential.aspx. Note that there may be limits on the number of PDUs that can be earned in each category.
