Presenter’s Name: Chad Dehmler
Topic: An ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System as an Organizational Process Asset
With the realization that some organizational cultures don’t recognize that a quality management system is an Organizational Process Asset (OPA) and with a dearth of materials on the actual use of an ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS) to support project management, Chad developed the informative presentation that you will hear in order to help Project Managers provide the impetus to use the ISO 9001:2015 standard and its sections as elements of a successful project management methodology.
The presentation theme reviews the salient points of an ISO 9001:2015 QMS, their interrelation with the PMBOK® knowledge areas, and how they can be used in developing and maintaining a project management methodology. Additionally, the sections of the standard can be used as building blocks and tools to accomplish the objectives of projects within an organizations project portfolio.

Dress for Success Women's Clothing Drive
The PMILIC will be hosting a Women's Professional Clothing Drive as a community outreach event to support the Dress for Success program on Long Island. This clothing drive will support the The Dress For Success vision of offering long lasting solutions to enable women to break the cycle of poverty by providing these women with professional attire to secure employment. Dress for Success is part of a global movement for change, empowering women to obtain safer and better futures.
What would you wear to a job interview? That is exactly the type of clothing we are looking for to distribute to our clients. Your fabulous suits and other professional apparel could furnish another woman with the confidence to enter or return to the workplace, make a great first impression and land a job that could change her life. Additionally, many of our clients go directly to an interview, so please ensure that all items donated are freshly dry-cleaned / laundered and ironed, not more than 5 years old, and suitable for wearing to job interviews. We gladly accept all clothing donations suitable for work, but larger sized clothing is especially appreciated. In an effort to go green and to comply with Board of Health Regulations, please place all donated clothing on hangers.
